10 Designer Kids Play Kitchens

While these may look like they are designed for a small New York apartment, they are indeed kids play kitchens. Lets take a look at my top ten according to price.

1. $499 Modern Chef Large Wooden Kids Kitchen Playset

Crate and Barrel Get one here

Hello modern cuteness! Black trim and black kitchens are so in, can’t you image this is full adult form! I think this is just Crate and Barrels attempt to get parents to allow more toys in the living room because it doesn’t look like a kids toy at all. (This is obviously before the kids actually play with it)

2. $499 My First Chelsea All-in-1 Play Kitchen

Pottery Barn Kids Get one here

This set comes in white, grey, black, and the pictured pink! The gold hardware really elevates this little kitchen. I love the little details like the lock for under the sink or the holes in the back to “add your own plumbing” if you wish.

3. $499 Penny Play Kitchen

Pottery Barn Kids Get one here

A single unit piece with adorable scalloped detail. It also has no upper cabinets- which would allow for floating wall shelves to keep it very trendy right now. Or simply can be put in more places around the house.

4. $499 Farmhouse Play Kitchen

Pottery Barn Kids Get one here

Another option to match your own house. I love the shelf on top for recipe books and other cuteness that maybe your youngster can’t reach yet. But who knows how long that will last.

5. $500 La Fiamma Grand Kitchen

F.A.O. Schwarz Get one here

This kitchen has so much storage you may start storing some real food in here too! Plus did you see the pizza oven?! I’ve never felt more jealous of a pretend kitchen…

6. $664.88 Dusty Green Plywood Play Kitchen

Etsy Get one here

How sweet is this handmade play kitchen. It comes in several colors and the best part about Etsy, you can message the designer if you have any questions or ideas and maybe they can make a custom piece for you!

7. $699 Mid-Century Play Kitchen

West Elm Get one here

West Elm, you would make this. I love how perfectly mid-century modern this kitchen is. It feels fresh out of HGTV and in all your mid century instagram infulencer play rooms.

8. $898 Charlie Kitchen Collection

Pottery Barn Kids Get one here

Also available in a gorgeous “weathered navy” color. This is one of the only kitchens you will see with a shelf under the sink vs. a blank empty cupboard. You could absolutely put adorable baskets in that shelf and use it for lots of storage. Because you know this bad boy is going to be FULL of toys immediately.

Also, this is one of the only ones with 4 burners. I see some chefs in the making here.

9. $1,047 Chelsea Kitchen Collection

Pottery Barn Kids Get one here

Also available in grey. The versility of this set is so fun! You can push all the pieces together to make a kitchen wall, or place them anyway you want to mimic your own kitchen or fit your space. Such a fun idea for creativity. Plus those gold details sure are purdy.

10. $1,829 Milton & Goose Handmade Full Kitchen Set

Neiman Marcus Get one here

They would have the priciest one, but look how cute! The natural wood and white is so in PLUS do I see an electric range?! and a fridge with multiple door handles? I love all the details and that its all made of wood instead of cheap plastic.

Hope these gave you some fun ideas on ways to stretch your budget on that playroom. Or for me, some ideas on how I can DIY that one my neighbor gave me from the side of the road… Either way, kitchens are such a fun play time activity to learn about foods, nutrition, food prep work, kitchen tools, all the things our kids will need to learn and use everyday for the rest of their life! And for now, we can make it fun, and maybe trendy, and maybe super super cute.
