Black and White Gingham Tablescape
Hello Winter, It’s Me, Margaret
Last week was fall and this week is winter. I’m sorry thanksgiving you poor forgotten holiday. This years thanksgiving tablescape is accidentally giving me all the winter Christmassy vibes.
These gorgeous galvanized charging plates I found at Hobby Lobby (for 50% off!) as well as the black and white gingham napkins. The runner was an old Target purchase. Love when trends come back ;)
My every day plates are a very light grey and liked the idea of pairing grey with whites and blacks - monochromatic is very in and looks awesome as long as you are able to throw in different texture. Between the shininess of the silverware, the galvanized chargers, and the linens, I think it makes a for a pretty “cool” table.
I could have left it here. But my heart screamed that we were forgetting the holiday. Maybe I’ll go back to the grey, black, and white in January. Because now it is almost Thanksgiving. So I tweaked it a little more.
The final result….
Whipped out some paper plates AND gold plastic silverware because who wants to do dishes after cooking all day? Not me.
Heres where I got everything:
Plates: Hobby Lobby - they have the best STURDY large plates. The best!
Napkins: Hobby Lobby
Chargers: Hobby Lobby
Silver wear: Target - Gold disposable
Pumpkins: Trader Joes
Taper candle holders: IKEA - great bang for your buck
Tea candle holders: Dollar Tree - Came clear and I spray painted black
I love me some tablescaping
